Qualifications:
· Associate’s Degree preferred
· Graduation from high school and any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing information and creating a good image of the district
- Manages telephone message system (office hours, inclement weather and other recorded messages)
- Greets visitors/vendors to the central office in a pleasant and informed manner
- Responds to inquiries for the purpose of referrals and directions as may be required
- Forwards requests for information and messages to the appropriate individuals
- Maintains office meeting calendar; schedules meetings held within the Central Office
- Maintains, sorts and distributes mail/faxes for Central Office and Education Center
- Assists personnel with the mailing and distribution of various documents and Communication and an as needed basis, Assist co-workers when needed
- Performs other clerical tasks as assigned including word processing, creating databases, phone list, safety info, etc.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Monitors/controls the keyless entry system for the front door
- Coordinates the safety operation for Central Office (fire drills, monthly reports, meeting, updates, etc)
- Complete walk in faxes, mail transcripts and collect monies
