Job summary

West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) is seeking a qualified Teacher for our Central H classroom. This full-time position runs 40 hours per week for 9 months, focusing on delivering developmentally appropriate education to preschool-age children and collaborating with families.

Responsibilities include weekly lesson planning, aligning activities with the latest curriculum, coordinating services under Child Development Services standards, and ensuring health-related services are

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• AA degree in Early Childhood Education OR valid CDA and enrollment in a program to qualify for degree within three years.
• Certifications in Child Abuse & Neglect, Communicable Disease, CPR, and First-Aid must be maintained.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a personal vehicle during working hours preferred.
• Ability to check email, enter data into program-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.

• Making weekly lesson plans and daily planning.
• Assist the children & families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment, and provision of individual services in accordance with Child Development Services Performance Standards, licensing regulations, and WOCAP policies & procedures.
• Ensure that all children receive required health related services by connecting them to resources, providing follow-up support services and identifying and removing barriers to needed services. This includes expectations to transport families to appointments, report difficulties to supervisors in writing, and ensuring follow-up within 30 days.
