Job Description:
The Florida Sales Manager will be focused on selling and promoting our brands primarily in the SFL and CFL markets. He or she must have experience in selling non commodity specialty and craft spirit brands in the on and off trade. He or she will be responsible for achieving the accounts sold and volume goals by working independently and along side distributor sales and management. He or she will work closely with a team of brand ambassadors to help grow relationships with top on and off premise key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- 80% Account Sales and Account Management - 15% Distributor Engagement – 5% Administrative
Account Management (80%) in key areas:
- Call on current key account relationships for both on and off premise
- Build new key account relationships for both on and off premise
- Must be willing and able to make 6 to 8 sales calls a day
- Obtain sales goals and execute brand standards as defined in key accounts
- Conduct brand training, samplings or seminars with key accounts
- Attend and/or execute on premise activations and be willing to spend 2-4 evenings a week doing so
- Coordinate brand ambassador efforts to accomplish market goals
- Coordinate sampling and promotional agencies to accomplish market goals
Distributor Engagement (15%):
- Attend distributor General Sales Meetings presenting our brand initiatives in the SFL and Tampa markets
- Interact and coordinate sales efforts with front line distributor sales management and key sales representatives
- Conduct brand training sessions with distributor personnel
- Manage samples with assigned distributor
Administrative (10%)
- Report on a weekly and monthly basis on the (new) accounts visited, achievements utilizing CRM program
- Monthly Expense Reporting and Review
- Weekly/Monthly KPI review on market achievements
Will work form home office and must live in either South Florida or Tampa area. Will require some travel, up to 25%.
