Job summary

CLA seeks a Central Billing Coordinator to champion client billing and practice management for services across wealth advisory, digital, audit, tax, consulting, and outsourcing. You will partner with CRLs and engagement teams to ensure accurate invoices, timely processing, and resolution of billing discrepancies.

In this role, you will review billing data, monitor trends, and help manage prepaid and scheduled bills while supporting AR activities and profitability analysis for ongoing engagements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related administrative experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional degrees preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday or similar PSA software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CRLs and engagement teams to understand billing expectations and provide guidance on standard and out-of-scope work.
• Review billing information for discrepancies or errors and coordinate with internal teams to correct them.
• Monitor invoices for accuracy and completeness and ensure proper billing of out-of-scope activities.
• Prepare and submit reports on billing activities and trends.
• Assist with revenue cycle matters such as AR posting and data management updates as needed.
• Engage with clients and CRLs to resolve billing issues and support practice management.
• Follow up on aging A/R and assist leadership with profitability analysis on a weekly basis.
