Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Cleveland is seeking a Centerless Grinder on the first shift. The role is fully onsite with starting pay between $26.00 and $30.00 per hour.

You will set up and operate centerless grinder machinery, inspect parts to print, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience, be mechanically inclined, and able to read blueprints and measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; one year certificate from college or technical school preferred
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in related role
• Ability to interpret verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills
• Ability to read basic measuring devices (micrometers, calipers)
• Understanding of surface footage and feed rates; experience in calculating feeds and speeds

Responsibilities

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery following production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Inspect product to print for flaws and material defects; deburr if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate work schedules and jobs to colleagues daily.
• Provide written and verbal updates to management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
