Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a skilled Centerless Grinder to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Rancho Dominguez, CA. You will operate and maintain centerless grinders to deliver high-precision parts, interpreting drawings and applying GD&T knowledge.

You must have at least 5 years of related experience, proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Centerless Grinder or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve machine-related issues promptly.
• Commitment to safety, detail, and high-quality workmanship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certs are a plus.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centerless Grinder to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining centerless grinding machines to meet our high-quality standards. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and precision of our manufactured parts, and therefore requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of technical skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain centerless grinding machinery to produce high-quality parts.
• Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check and ensure the accuracy of work performed.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of the product.
• Apply knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T to the grinding process.
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
