Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Director to lead center store operations across Grocery, GM, Dairy, Frozen, and Hardware, ensuring outstanding merchandising, cleanliness, and guest relations. You’ll supervise store operations in support of the Store Director and drive profitability with coaching and enforcement of policies.

You will also oversee CGO processes, inventory control, and team development, while maintaining safety and compliance across the store.

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Certification required for operation of forklift and/or pallet jack.
• EXPERIENCE: Must have previous retail management experience.
• MINIMUM AGE: 18 years of age. 21 years of age required to sell tobacco products and/or alcohol.
• REASON ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.

Responsibilities

• Center Store Responsibilities include Grocery, GM, Dairy, Frozen, and Hardware; stocking and rotation; ordering and CGO processes; signage and merchandising.
• CGO Champion responsibilities to ensure CGO functioning across center store departments and support other store departments.
• Store supervision duties include open communication, morale, profitability thinking, guest service, training, compliance with policies and regulations, and records management.
