Job summary

Martin's Super Markets in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a store associate responsible for stocking and displaying merchandise and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will stock shelves, assist with back room tasks, and maintain clean, well-organized departments.

The role requires basic reading, math skills, and attention to detail. Prior retail experience is preferred, and the position follows safety and food safety guidelines. May involve assignment to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
