Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a store associate to stock and display products, assist customers, and operate the register at Martin's Super Markets in Granger, IN. You will help maintain clean, well-organized departments and support guest experiences while following safety and food safety guidelines.

The role requires basic reading/writing and math, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred; Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Be familiar with products and their locations across departments.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
• Operate cash register and electronic scanner for customer purchases.
