The Fresh Market is seeking a Center Store Department Lead in Louisville to support the Center Store Department Manager and lead teams with care and purpose. You’ll guide daily operations, coach teammates, and ensure every guest experiences Impeccable Hospitality while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in retail or related fields.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting goals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize shrink, and support ordering.
• Act as a resource for team members and provide guidance in the manager’s absence.
• Model and coach “Impeccable Hospitality” by engaging guests and creating positive experiences.
• Help implement merchandising strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales and profitability.
• Assist in analyzing department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with fellow department leaders to drive store success.
• Leverage available technology to perform these tasks.
