Job summary

Food Lion is seeking an individual to assist the Center Store (Grocery) Manager in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining department standards. You will help train and schedule the stock crew and ensure shelves are stocked with saleable merchandise per company guidelines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork, with responsibilities including maintaining a clean appearance, adhering to safety guidelines, and completing required CBT and training materials.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Store Manager in providing quality customer service within the Center Store Department
• Maintain standards per the standard practice manual and maximize sales
• Minimize shrink through proper use of standard practice and training of stock crew
• Support training, scheduling and supervision of a qualified stock crew
• Stock product, maintain shelf allocations and ensure products are saleable and correctly displayed
• Follow company guidelines, policies, safety procedures and dress code
• Complete CBT and Training courses as required
