Job summary

Qualifications

• Good understanding of store operations preferred.

• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accreditation as Food Safety Manager or willingness to attain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Oversee daily labor management and coaching to hit productivity targets.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion culture and strategic goals.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure store safety, sanitation and compliance with regulations.
