Adams and Associates, Inc. Miami Job Corps Center is seeking a Center Shift Supervisor to lead residential and social development programs, mentor staff, and ensure a safe, structured environment where students can develop life skills and pursue career goals.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of program management experience, a high school diploma, a valid Florida driver’s license, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate of Arts degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in program management.
• Strong background working with youth.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Driving record that meets company insurability guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate, hold staff accountable, resolve conflicts, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed to support operations on an active campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate Social Development and Residential Living staff.
• Build a supportive, accountable, and high-performing team.
• Manage evening and weekend programming, including student government, recreation, and leadership activities.
• Promote positive student engagement, personal growth, and community participation.
• Oversee the center’s behavior management system during non-class hours.
• Help ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
• Ensure the center meets or exceeds Department of Labor (DOL) and company performance goals.
• Maintain strict data integrity and uphold established operational standards.
• Develop positive relationships with local businesses, elected officials, and community organizations.
• Expand opportunities and resources available to students.
• Partner with campus leaders and other departments to deliver seamless, high-quality services to students.
