Job summary

Harvard University’s Center for Bioethics seeks a Center Programming Manager to coordinate and administer all programming and non-degree educational offerings, including the Responsible Conduct of Research program.

You will manage data collection, reporting, stakeholder communications, and event logistics for in-person and virtual programs, while ensuring policy compliance and alignment with educational objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience required. Higher education may count toward experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Understanding of Internal and Harvard-wide policies and best practices is key.
• Hands-on implementation, follow-through, task completion, and big-picture organizing as well as strategic communication.

Responsibilities

• The Center Programming Manager serves as the principal contact and administrative organizer for all programming and non-degree educational programs in the Center for Bioethics.
• Coordinate collecting and maintaining data to produce reports on program participation, marketing responses, and program evaluations.
• Coordinate across Center staff and faculty to ensure clear program objectives, effective program design aligned to objectives, smooth operations and implementation, clear communication, and alignment of key stakeholders on appropriate educational aims.
• Plan and execute program events, including in-person and virtual offerings; organize registration, venues, catering, AV, and speaker logistics.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and ensure compliance with University policy; advise staff and faculty on policies and regulations; prepare expense reports.
• Gather and maintain data on attendance, audience trends, marketing responses, and program feedback to inform strategic planning.
• Maintain inventory of promotional items aligned to Center-sponsored education/ programming strategy and purpose.
• Assist in efforts to support the overall success of the Center.
