Job summary

The Salvation Army's Grand Rapids Kroc Center seeks a seasoned General Manager to provide leadership, oversight and administration of the center. You will work with the Senior Kroc Officer to set strategies, oversee operations, programming, marketing and HR, while representing the center in the community.

This role requires a Master’s degree and at least five years in nonprofit management; strong communication, budget oversight, and hands-on leadership are essential to drive programs and ensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and minimum five years of experience in nonprofit program development, planning, management and evaluation.
• Ability to develop and administer facility budgets and read/write in English.
• Proficient with MS Office and strong email communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and oversee programming, marketing and HR staffing.
• Develop strategies with the leadership team to meet priorities and budget objectives.
• Ensure risk management, safety procedures and center-wide events align with objectives.
• Oversee staff policies, center budget, capital projects and vendor coordination.
• Represent the center in community groups and public forums; lead meetings and maintain clear communications.
