Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on daily operations of a center and lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will make real-time decisions to allocate time and resources and ensure a strong first impression for customers.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, performing tasks such as hitch installations, and participating in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University to advance your career at our company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form; customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive excellent first impression and quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
