Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to shoulder day-to-day center operations and lead a high-performing team. You will work alongside an excellent team to ensure customers receive the highest level of care and service, while gaining valuable leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in any context.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
