Job summary

Clackamas County Children's Commission seeks a Center Director to oversee daily center operations for 0-5 programs. You will supervise lead Teachers, ensure high quality service delivery, and collaborate with Managers to maintain licensing and performance standards.

The role requires leadership, program oversight, and active engagement with families and staff to support safety and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field with credentials and experience in supervision of adults.
• Experience in leadership and supervision of center staff.
• Knowledge of licensing requirements and Federal/State performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily center operations and supervise lead Teachers.
• Promote high quality 0-5 center-based service delivery.
• Collaborate with Managers/Directors to ensure compliance with Licensing Requirements.
• Coordinate professional development and training plans for staff.
• Maintain records to comply with licensing requirements and documentation standards.
• Coordinate enrollment and family engagement activities.
• Oversee safety, attendance, and data entry across programs.
