Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Round Rock, TX to oversee daily center operations, lead a team, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role offers hands-on training and opportunities to advance within a nationwide logistics and moving solutions company.

You will participate in ongoing education via U-Haul University and earn performance bonuses. The position requires leadership, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; a willingness to work varied shifts is

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience and strong customer service skills required.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
