Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring for a center operations leadership role in Florida. The position oversees personnel, budget, and daily operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient center performance.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, math, and office software skills, with experience in healthcare operations and staff development. A High School diploma is required, Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: clear and legible reading/writing in English with strong communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency required for daily operations and budgeting.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
• Experience with office software and general document handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all center activities, including personnel, environmental control, physician assistance, equipment, and material control.
• Recruit, staff, orient, train, discipline, and evaluate personnel per policy and law.
• Review attendance, staffing, overtime and turnover; monitor accuracy of records and performance.
• Develop and implement annual budget; oversee fiscal operations, cost management, revenue generation and accounts payable.
• Coordinate operations with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Engage with patients and staff to uphold patient experience standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation; monitor quality assurance.

Job Description

• Manages all center activities, including personnel, environmental control, assistance to physicians, equipment, and material control.
• Recruits, staffs, orients, trains, disciplines, and evaluates personnel in accordance with personnel policy and employee relations laws.
• Reviews employee time and attendance and monitors staffing, turnover, overtime, and absenteeism.
• Develops and implements the annual budget, overseeing fiscal operations, cost management, revenue generation, accounts payable, and daily financial practices.
• Coordinates operating activities with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Rounds with team members and patients to ensure patient experience standards are upheld.
• Maintains safe and efficient center operations by monitoring work orders and equipment safety, overseeing vendors, and recommending improvements.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory licensure and accrediting regulations. Monitors and controls department services through a Quality Assurance Program.
• Investigates and responds to complaints, taking effective corrective action and involving appropriate parties as necessary.
• Communicates with key corporate clients routinely to monitor customer satisfaction and attends networking events to identify business opportunities.
• Manages various aspects of Accounts Receivable, including updating staff on changes, monitoring claims, responding to correspondence requests, and ensuring timely submission of reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements [Required]
