Manages the day-to-day operations of a small or medium-sizeduniversity program or department. May supervise staff employees,student workers, programs or processes.
Requires a thorough understanding of boththeoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical orprofessional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than oneprofessional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normallyobtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree froma college or university or an equivalent in-depth specializedtraining program that is directly related to the type of work beingperformed. Experience: No experience required.
The CSE Program Manager is responsible for developing andcoordinating initiatives that support the retention, persistence,engagement, and graduation of first-generation students and othervulnerable student populations. The position works collaborativelywith CSE leadership and campus partners to strengthen studentsuccess and reduce barriers to degree completion.
