Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a Center Director to lead the South Charlotte center and drive day-to-day operations, enrollments, and staff development.

You will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance, while expanding community partnerships and center profitability. A passion for math and education is essential, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team or center operations.
• Proven ability to drive enrollments and relationships with schools/communities.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Comfort with coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the center.
• Lead enrollment efforts by engaging leads and converting to students.
• Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees.
• Motivate and mentor team members to grow professionally.
• Market the Mathnasium program by building relationships with schools and community groups.
• Monitor center performance metrics including profitability and student success.
• Identify student needs and develop personalized learning plans.

What you will do as a Center Director:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center
• Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees
• Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally
• Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships
• Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success
• Identify student needs and opportunities and develop customized student learning plans

What we are looking for in a Center Director:

• Previous management or leadership experience preferred
• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Passion for math and working with students
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
