Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Center Director to lead our teaching staff and operations. You will oversee teacher recruitment, coaching, and performance, while ensuring adherence to curriculum standards and licensing requirements.

You will manage schedules, classroom ratios, and daily activities to provide a safe, engaging environment for infants through preschool children. This role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and collaboration with families and franchise leadership.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience
• Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Identifies, schedules and interviews teacher candidates; builds networks of external future talent
• Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates learning
• Manages team to ensure curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards
• Trains, coaches and develops staff for future growth
• Maintains weekly schedules and classroom ratios
• Handles new hire paperwork and staff files per licensing rules
• Manages center schedules to maintain ratios and budgeted labor
