Job summary

Learning Care Group in Jacksonville is seeking a Center Director to lead a busy child care center and guide daily operations with a warm, engaging team. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, mentor teachers, and ensure programs meet licensing and quality standards.

You will collaborate with families, maintain open communication, promote a safe, educational environment, and drive improvements through coaching and performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader! Manages school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans; assists with curriculum implementation with teachers.
• Be an expert! Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards; promote a positive community partnership.
• Be an innovator! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things daily in a caring, safe environment.
• Be a team player! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
