Softcom Systems Inc. is seeking a Center Director to lead an early childhood education center in Paramus, NJ. You will oversee operations, budgeting, staff supervision, and program quality to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

You will drive enrollment growth, ensure licensing compliance, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and partner with families and the community to support children’s development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare/early childhood education leadership or center management.
• Demonstrated experience with childcare licensing, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to contribute to center enrollment and business growth.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with families and employees.
• Must be a team player who can work collaboratively with staff and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced childcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the childcare center.
• Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Lead, support, and collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to maintain a positive team environment.
• Help recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-quality staff.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, employees, and the local community.
• Support enrollment growth and contribute to the overall growth and development of the center and business.
• Identify opportunities to improve center operations, family satisfaction, and overall performance.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging environment for children.
• Address operational and staffing challenges effectively and professionally.
• Work collaboratively with ownership and the center team to achieve business and educational goals.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
