Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director in New Jersey to support the Center Director with staff leadership, family engagement, and enrollment and accreditation objectives. You will work closely with parents, teachers, and external partners to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on supervision, and adherence to state guidelines while maintaining safety and program quality for children across the center.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
