The Opportunity
We are looking for a Center Director to lead our Mathnasium of Mansfield North location.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the center while leading your team, connecting with families, driving enrollment, maintaining a high-quality educational experience, and building Mathnasium’s presence in the local community.
You’ll be the leader and owner of the center’s results. That means understanding your numbers, developing your team, creating an exceptional experience for families, and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
We provide extensive training and ongoing leadership development to give you the tools and support needed to succeed.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Enrollment
- Build relationships with prospective families and guide them through the enrollment process
- Conduct consultative sales conversations focused on understanding each family's needs
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospective families
- Confidently communicate the value of Mathnasium programs and overcome common objections
- Own center enrollment, conversion, retention, and monthly sales goals
Family Experience & Education
- Build strong, lasting relationships with students and parents
- Ensure families receive a consistent, high‑quality Mathnasium experience
- Partner with the instructional team to support student progress and educational goals
- Communicate student progress and program recommendations with parents
- Maintain a welcoming, engaging, and professional center environment
Team Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop instructors and center team members
- Create a positive, accountable, and high‑performing team culture
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to help team members grow
- Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling based on center needs
- Model strong leadership, professionalism, and customer service
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Develop relationships with local schools, PTAs/PTOs, community organizations, and businesses
- Represent Mathnasium at school and community events
- Execute local marketing initiatives to generate awareness and new leads
- Identify opportunities to grow Mathnasium's presence throughout the Mansfield North community
Business & Center Operations
- Take ownership of the overall performance of the center
- Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to achieve goals
- Manage multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency
- Maintain center standards, systems, and operational expectations
- Approach the business with an entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–2+ years of experience in business management, consultative sales, education, customer service, or a related leadership role
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to listen to customer needs, recommend solutions, and confidently navigate objections
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Comfortable working toward measurable sales, enrollment, and business goals
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results‑driven mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger leadership team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Flexibility to work a schedule that supports center operations, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends
