Job summary

ChenMed in Norfolk, VA seeks a Center Clinical Manager to lead day-to-day back office operations, oversee clinical quality, compliance, HR, and patient experience, and supervise staff including Care Promoters and technicians.

The CCM collaborates with Center Leadership to design clinical operation strategies, uses analytics to drive revenue and quality improvements, and ensures regulatory standards and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred.
• Active LPN or CMA certification required; other clinical licensure/certifications may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in a medical clinic or similar setting.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience with direct reports preferred.
• IV Therapy certification where required by State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
• EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with center and divisional leaders to deliver VIP patient service.
• Oversee clinical operations to meet performance metrics and growth goals.
• Schedule staff, approve payroll and PTO, and manage staffing shortages.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and supervise Care Promoters.
• Use data dashboards to drive strategies that boost revenue and quality metrics.
• Develop procedures to improve staff productivity and coach clinical teams.
• Manage equipment and supplies, maintain safety checks, and service equipment.
• Ensure KPIs such as wait times, patient experience and staff engagement are met.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and ongoing education of clinical staff and technicians.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA and other regulatory compliance and conduct audits.
• Complete required training to dispense medications.
