Job summary

Centria Autism in Lansing, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with team to support each child’s development.
