Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is hiring a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our in-center ABA therapy team in Nottingham, Maryland.

The role includes direct 1:1 and small-group instruction, data collection, parent training support, and adherence to BCBA/BC protocols. Full-time, 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with PTO, tuition discounts, and a practicum supervision track.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Willing to undergo background checks.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation necessary.
• CPR and First Aid willingness or certification planned.
• TB test annually and basic safety readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and small-group client care using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow treatment plans designed by BCBA/BC to acquire skills and reduce behaviors.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of incidents and safety concerns.
• Communicate progress with parents as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
