Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, in-center role in Maryland. You will provide 1:1 and group ABA sessions, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA/BC to implement individualized plans.

Responsibilities include following treatment protocols, assisting with caregiver training, and maintaining accurate records. The position offers PTO, a structured pay plan, and ongoing supervision hours for practicum

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification from BACB.
• Willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; CPR and First Aid certification encouraged.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Physically able to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfort with using mobile devices to record data and navigate apps.
• Good written and verbal communication; strong cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings following treatment plans.
• Follow prescribed protocols outlined by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observed client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and following procedures.
• Communicate progress to parents as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
