De Soto Unified School Dist is seeking a Center-Based Paraprofessional for Mill Creek Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports intensive instructional programs, daily living and behavioral skills, and may include medical care under a licensed nurse, with a 174-day calendar and 3.75 hours per day.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with children preferred, current health certification (TB), and a clear criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferred.
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test.
• Completion of clear, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
