Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our clinic-based program.

Work 20-22 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, providing ABA-based interventions under supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA, in a 1:1 and small-group setting with preschool children.

You will collect data, document session notes, support daily routines, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families while adhering to safety and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children ages 0-5.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Comfortable with hands-on care, including diaper changing.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting.
• Collect and document accurate data and session notes.
• Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines.
