Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for clinic-based program in Hayward, CA. Schedule is 20-22 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

You will implement ABA plans under supervision, provide 1:1 and small-group services in a preschool/community setting, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support children's growth in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience working with children ages 0-5 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting.
• Collect and document accurate data and session notes.
• Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and assist with diapering/toileting.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 0-5

• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

• Comfortable with hands-on care, including diaper changing

• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention

• Bilingual (preferred, not required)

• Coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or ABA
