Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA-based interventions in a clinic setting under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA. The role supports children’s growth through structured, evidence-based activities.

The position is 30 hours per week with 1:1 and small-group services, data collection, and collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families to reinforce daily routines, communication, and social skills.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience with children ages 0–5
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with hands-on care including diapering
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
• Bilingual experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA/BCaBA supervision
• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting
• Collect and document data and session notes
• Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines
