Job summary

Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking a Behavior Technician for center-based ABA services. The role involves implementing behavior management programs 1:1 in a center-based setting, close collaboration with a BCBA, and engagement with children and families.

Hourly rate starts at $24.50 per hour with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours. The position includes benefits after eligibility and ongoing supervision toward BCBA hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with youth and individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with the person served.
• Follow treatment plan goals and interventions with supervision when needed.
• Collaborate with family and treatment team to implement behavior management techniques.
• Educate parents/guardians on reinforcement and intervention information.
• Promote replacement behaviors to build communication and social skills.
• Collect and review behavior data (A-B-C, frequency, duration, etc.).
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Attend clinical meetings as assigned.
• Provide up-to-date residential status and address issues per clinical guidance.
