Job summary

Step Up Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician for in-center work in Brick Township, NJ. You will provide direct ABA services to children under BCBA supervision, following individualized treatment plans and collecting data.

Responsibilities include implementing skill-building and behavior reduction plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with families and the clinical team. Training and supervision toward RBT certification are offered; scheduling varies with cases and hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related college education preferred.
• Experience with children or ABA is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to follow individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services under BCBA supervision.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
• Support goals in communication, social, adaptive, academic, and other developmental skills.
• Collect and document client data and session notes.
• Monitor client responses and report progress and safety concerns to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with families and clinical team while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Maintain consistent attendance and scheduling for assigned cases.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Utilize systems for documentation, scheduling, and billing with timely record-keeping.
• Maintain client safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
