Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to plan, organize, and direct the department’s operations to maximize visibility as the sub-acute preferred provider and increase census in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, 3+ years in business development, and healthcare experience. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field from accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) or more years’ successful business development experience.
• Experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate business development programs.
• Develop new business for facility.
• Develop and implement census development plans.
• Meet and/or exceed budgeted census and quality mix goals.
• Recruit, select, train, counsel, and supervise business development staff (if applicable).
• Conduct facility tours to potential patients and families and educate them on key benefits of the facility.
• Effectively manage and operate within budget.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
