Job summary

Dubuque Specialty Care, a 84-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Dubuque, IA, is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to drive census growth and optimize payer mix. You will manage the admissions pipeline end-to-end, build relationships with referral sources, and deliver an exceptional intake experience for residents and families.

Role blends outside sales, account management, and admissions operations to ensure clinically appropriate placements and high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, social work, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Two (2)+ years in post-acute admissions, healthcare sales, case management, or discharge planning; long-term care experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly market coverage to hospitals, SNFs, assisted living and home health.
• Maintain account plans for priority sources and set SMART goals.
• Present capabilities, bed availability and admit criteria; conduct in-services.
• Manage the CRM and track pipeline metrics weekly.
