SGS Consulting seeks a cemetery operations technician to manage openings and closings, install memorials, and respond to client family work orders in a graveyard environment. You will maintain safety standards and preventive maintenance on vehicles and tools, perform interment procedures, and uphold company policies.

Applicants should have six months of equipment experience, a valid driving record, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs while working in varying weather conditions.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating standard cemetery equipment encouraged.
• Must have a valid driving record and appropriate licenses.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out openings and closings for burials, entombments, inurnments, and disinterments.
• Install and assemble foundations, memorials, markers, and outer burial containers.
• Respond to and fulfill work orders from client families, including grave/marker maintenance.
• Conduct Interment Verification Procedures and prepare a 25-foot radius around burial sites, including filling, tamping, seeding, or sodding to maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and Universal Precautions.
• Maintain company equipment and facilities via preventive maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
• Complete mandatory training, such as through Dignity University, and uphold the Dignity Memorial Promise standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
