Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years cemetery maintenance experience with increasing responsibilities.
• 2+ years supervising staff.
• Experience with environmental regulatory compliance.
• New construction / capital expenditure development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple cemeteries and development for large sites.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, wildlife, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Market and home office on capital expenditure projects.
• Build a high performing team; oversee staff scheduling and performance.
• Manage groundskeeping, landscaping, and seasonal plantings to maintain manicured properties.
• Develop annual operating budget, personnel budget, and management expenses; plan equipment replacement.
• Source and select vendors; procure inventory; review invoices for payment.
