Job summary

The Michelle Martin Group is seeking a Groundskeeper for an immediate start at a cemetery location in Amelia, VA. This temporary, 40-hour-per-week role runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and is 100% on-site.

You will maintain grounds and headstones, operate grounds equipment, and support interment-related tasks while following safety and regulatory guidelines. Immediate start requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months of relevant groundskeeping or cemetery grounds experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment; outside work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, plow snow, water lawns, fertilize, trim shrubs, and inspect assigned areas.
• Operate lawn and grounds equipment (mowers, snow blowers, trimmers, leaf blowers).
• Remove debris and trash from grounds.
• Assist with flower vase care and interment-related tasks as needed.
• Support openings and closings for interments and entombments.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
