Job summary

The Dept of Veterans Services in Virginia is seeking a Cemetery Caretaker (Part-Time) at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery to maintain grounds, ensure safety of all sites, and support veterans and their families by upholding standards of care and respect for service and sacrifice.

Qualifications

• Must have learned all cemetery grounds maintenance procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of garden/section maps, pins and gravesite numbering system for laying out each site.
• Able to operate power hand tools and heavy equipment; capable of plastering, plumbing, and roof repairs and carpentry.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
