Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain our cemetery grounds, ensuring safety and high-quality service for visitors. You will perform landscape tasks, maintain equipment, and assist with funeral services, while handling day-to-day maintenance and snow removal as needed.

The role requires use of maintenance machinery, physical stamina to lift up to 80lbs, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.).
• Maintain equipment and assist with funeral services.
• Operate cemetery machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones/memorials as needed.
• Handle daily maintenance and snow removal if applicable.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
