Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain our cemetery grounds, operate maintenance equipment, and assist with funeral service-related tasks. You will ensure safety and high-quality care for the grounds and monuments.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and flexibility to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends. A valid driver’s license is required and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment and machinery.
• Support all functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones/memorials as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties and occasional snow removal.
• Accomplish additional tasks as assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
