Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to care for our property, operate maintenance equipment, and support funeral services as needed. You will ensure safety and high-quality service for visitors and staff.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, ability to lift 80 lbs, and a valid driver’s license, with some holidays/evenings/weekends required. A strong focus on compassion and customer care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school equivalency.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or related field experience.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor/management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks (weeding, mowing, etc.).
• Maintain and service equipment.
• Handle all functions related to funeral services as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist in installation.
• Install headstones or memorials as required.
• Manage day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Assist with snow removal when applicable.
