Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain landscape and equipment, support funeral services, and ensure safety and high service standards for visitors.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, ability to lift 80 lbs, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work some holidays, evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, lawn mowing).
• Maintain equipment and oversee cemetery vaults and headstones installation as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance and snow removal (if applicable).
• Support funeral services and operate machinery safely.
• Work under the Grounds Superintendent and follow directives.
