Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment listed above.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance and push/pull up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims trees, walks, and memorial markers; lays sod and handles grave sites.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways; may assist with snow removal.
• Erects tents and arranges chairs for graveside ceremonies; prepares chapels for services.
• Installs grave markers and maintains cemetery features; operates backhoe under supervision.
• Maintains, repairs and stores equipment; performs minor repairs and painting.
