Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Providence, RI is seeking a Terminal Operator to oversee the hands-on operation of terminal equipment and daily functions under terminal management.

You will load/unload rail cars and trucks, maintain equipment, ensure order accuracy, and follow health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments. 1-3 years of related experience preferred; cement terminal experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Cement Terminal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc., in a clean and presentable state.
• Unload railcars and transfer products into proper silos.
• Load/unload material for rail and road.
• Operate and maintain unloading equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain maintenance records on terminal equipment and mobile equipment.
• Perform clerical tasks for receipts, shipments and inventory records.
• Assist at other Amrize locations as required.
• Assist in training of new employees.
