Job summary

GCC, at its Pueblo, CO plant, seeks a hands-on engineer to optimize cement manufacturing processes and lead cross-functional audit teams. The role focuses on improving safety, efficiency, and reliability while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background with at least 2 years of experience in cement or heavy industrial processes, plus strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience; rotary kiln manufacturing a plus.
• Cement processing experience.
• Self-motivated, hands-on individual who can follow instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
• Lead audit teams to ensure effective results.
• Benchmark and implement best practices in cement plant operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and environmental teams on process changes.
